An accomplished executive in the global food and nutrition industry, Doug Kantner founded Ame Nutritional Ingredients in 2014. Doug Kantner also serves as CEO and president of Kantner Group, formerly Euro Proteins, which imports, manufactures, and distributes a number of dairy protein products. Under his leadership, Kantner Group has appeared in Entrepreneur magazine and was named to Dun & Bradstreet’s “Hot 100” list of up-and-coming companies.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Kantner spent nearly a decade as president of U.S. industrial products at Group Lactalis, where he grew industrial product sales from $6 million to $35 million. A member of multiple professional organizations, he belongs to Rotary International and the Institute of Food Technologists. He holds a bachelor of science in economics from the University of Pennsylvania. In recognition of his professional accomplishments, he was nominated for the Entrepreneur of the Year award by Ernst & Young.
