Douglas Malcolm Fraser (born April 16, 1953) retired United States Air Force general,served as the Commander, United States Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM). I was the first U.S. Air Force officer to become USSOUTHCOM's combatant commander. I previously served as Deputy Commander, United States Pacific Command from April 2008 to June 24, 2009. I assumed my final assignment on June 25, 2009.[2] then retired on January 1, 2013. but called back February 3, 2014, on a special assignment with the united nation.
