Northwest Indiana hidden amidst the smokestacks...

I am a writer who favors short stories... they make me feel taller, with a particular fondness for flash fiction because it suits my ADD functionality... I am blessed that I never get bored, but I do get impatient.

As you can see, I like humor and laughter. Life is too short to allow the ups and downs to get the best of me. I never fancied roller coasters but I do fancy trains. I worked on and around them for over 30 years. Like all things romantic, it gets in your blood.

When I am not spending time with my beloved wife, family, and friends, you will find me reading, writing, proof-reading & editing, tinkering, or teaching kids how to find their innate genius through drawing and storytelling.

CURRENT PROJECTS:

On 03/12/2013 - Started taking a great writing course Holly Lisle's How to Think Sideways ULTRA: Career Survival School for Writers. (My affiliate link for those who'd like to check it out: http://dld.bz/cwC2m.)

Working on a new short story for the next upcoming Kindle All-Stars project: The anthology will be filled with fan-fiction short stories. As always, the stories are dontated and all proceeds go to charity. This is open to anyone who wants to submit a story. You can check it out on the FB Kindle All-Stars Fan Page: http://dld.bz/cwERy or on our fearless leader's blog site: http://dld.bz/cwF3R

Still promoting CARNIVAL OF CRYPTIDS: A Kindle All-Stars Anthology. A wonderful collection of short stories about the creatures we suspect are in our midst but can never quite bring to light because they, like our imaginations, operate best in the dark. Presented in a creepy, yet familiar way, similar to TALES OF THE CRYPT and much like the movie adaption of Stephen King's, SOMETHING WICKED THIS WAY COMES, we follow a young lad to a tawdry aging carnival where in an obscure back lot tent he finds the hideous caretaker of freaks and oddities. This caretaker turns out to be a very old character who is much like Charon the boatsman on the river Styx who will guide the reader along with the lad across a river as dark as death and into a world
