Working with Victoriaâs Secret, Douglas Zarkin was responsible for introducing the Pink brand to consumers. A cross-category brand including apparel, beauty products, and accessories, Pink became a $400 million success. Other triumphs aligned with Douglas Zarkinâs marketing prowess include the portable snack food business of General Mills, the Youth and Entertainment division of the Grey Global Group, Avonâs upscale womenâs brand âmark,â and Warnaco Group Inc.âs $200 million Core Brands intimate apparel business.
With over 15 years of marketing experience, Douglas Zarkin has developed an excellent track record for stimulating business growth. Douglas Zarkin was educated at The George Washington University and American University, where he earned his Marketing MBA in 1993. His career began with advertising agencies such as Grey Global Group Inc., Saatchi & Saatchi Worldwide, and Ammirati Puris Lintas, Inc. Currently, Douglas Zarkin is the Vice President of Marketing for the intimate apparel divisions at Warnaco, overseeing top brands such as Warnerâs Olga and Olgaâs Christina and recently spearheading the Calvin Klein Generation Y Task Force. Douglas Zarkin is married to Sloan Jessica Stern and lives in New York City.
