Derek D Owens, a man barely alive, was rocketed to Earth from a dying planet. Searching for a distant star, the weather started getting rough, and the tiny ship was tossed in a dimension not of sight and sound, but of mind. We can rebuild him; we have the technology. Pressured to prove his theories or lose funding, an accidental overdose of gamma radiation altered his body chemistry. Now he can control the horizontal and the vertical, and is boldly going where no man has gone before. It can be a dangerous place, but it's our last best hope for peace. He also watches far too much television.
