In December of 2005 DownSeed was born, through determination and hard work they took the local area by storm, winning countless battles across the state of Michigan that would lead them to open for over 50+ national acts by the summer of 2007 including Bullet for my Valentine, Nonpoint, Taproot, Pop Evil, Hollywood Undead, Flaw, Ventana, The Black Dahlia Murder, Five Finger Death Punch, Puddle of Mudd, Kittie, Pop Evil, Silverstein, Darkest Hour, Dillinger Escape Plan, Mark Rizzo, Every Time I Die and many more...... DownSeed has been featured on many internet and mainstream radio shows showcasing there albums "Waiting For Nothing", "The Masquerade", and "The Revolution". In 2008 DownSeed had joined forces with "Revolution Music", an independent record label, who had signed them to a distribution and promotion deal making it possible to spread their seed worldwide. In early 2011, however, changes had taken place. Determined to keep the seed alive the new line up brings Nate Cupp on vocals, Matt McConnell on guitar and backing vocals, Jordan Lewis on Guitar, Josh White on keys/samples and backing vocals, Wes Combs on Bass, and Billy Davidson on drums. As they embark on there new journey, while keeping true to there roots, DownSeed are working on incorporating a whole new sound that will defiantly have you begging for more, prepare to witness the rebirth of Downseed.
