Greetings — I’m Jose, and it’s a pleasure to meet you. I’m a career-focused, 30-something Latinx, genderfluid individual now back in the Dallas/Fort Worth area after spending the last five years in the Prairie State. Think of me as a blend of Southern charm and Midwest hospitality.

When the mass layoffs of the COVID-19 pandemic reshaped the workforce in 2020, I chose to see it as an opportunity to grow. I returned to higher education, a decision that transformed both my confidence and my future. Though I once struggled academically, I’ve since rediscovered my strengths and proven to myself what I’m capable of. I’m currently pursuing my Bachelor of Business Administration at the University of Illinois–Springfield, having completed all of my associate-level coursework at Lincoln Land Community College. My focus now is finishing my degree and re-entering the workforce with a renewed skill set and a competitive edge.

Professionally, I’ve always been a people-oriented problem solver. With more than 20 years of experience across a wide range of industries, I’ve developed a career rooted in adaptability, continuous learning, and strong communication. I’ve held roles such as Business Office Manager, Fleet Manager, Medical Records Clerk, Office Coordinator, Operations Manager, and Patient Access Specialist—each one expanding my expertise in areas like accounts payable and receivable, administration, operations, human resources, scheduling, and workforce utilization. Whether leading teams or working independently, I bring professionalism, initiative, and a commitment to getting the job done right.

Outside of my professional life, I’m passionate about photography. For over 11 years, I’ve shot professionally across the United States, specializing in headshots, cosplay, portraiture, studio work, and on-location shoots. My camera has introduced me to an incredible network of clients—from beauty models and drag performers to Power Rangers actors and top-tier cosplay influencers—and taken me on unforgettable travels.

I love food. All cuisines. If it’s delicious, I’m happy.

I’m also a big fan of pop culture—and always open to talking about it.
