David Parrish

I grew up in Tallahassee, Florida. I am currently still a resident in Tallahassee, Florida. I am ready to break free from this city. Tallahassee is a great place to live and raise kids, but I think everyone gets the itch to leave their home town and explore new avenues. I love food, I lI am currently a sophomore at FIU seeking a major in Public Administration. I am a full time student and a full time employee for the blood bank here in Tallahassee. From the little that I read in chapter 1 of our textbook so far I would say I expect to learn how to view opinions with more of an open mind, and to look at the "bigger picture" in life. I hope I will be able to apply my learning's from this class to my everyday life like I was able to with my leadership class that I took last semester. I love food, I love to eat food. I always get really jealous when I see food shows that have food judges. I hate those judges. Really, I love the judges, but I hate that they are their trying those delicious meals and I am stuck at home watching them with my mouth watering. I like to paint, I'm not very good but, it is fun to try. Sometimes the end product comes out good to me, and that can be very rewarding. I am married to a lovely woman named Roxanne (yes, go ahead and sing the song, you know you want to). Currently we have no children, only two cats named Gus Gus, and Ginger. The cats are our children right now. My wife does want children, in fact, she wants them right now. We are 26 and 27 years old. This could change but, right now I see myself and Roxanne in Atlanta, I will be working for some PR firm, or corporation hopefully in a great position involving leadership. I will have at least one kid with my wife living in the city, living the city life where I can walk everywhere and don't have to drive (that always looked cool to me in the movies).
