I was born in Cuba and raised in Nashville, TN. It is incredible how much where you live in your life can influence the way you think and act. I am thankful for my background because it has molded me into the person that I am today. I enjoy learning about how things work, and I am mostly interested in facts. I rarely fancy fictional works, unless they are for a dramatic purpose. Hence I greatly enjoy watching plays, movies, and other dramatic works, but I am not as interested in fictional books unless they are science fiction or plausible. When I am not studying, which is rarely, or when I need to take a quick break I enjoy writing poems. Ever since I read Shakespeare's Sonnet 18, I became passionate about writing romantic poems.
