Dennis Owens

A life "gone to the dogs" - redefined.

Communications - with and about animals is what Dennis' career has been about. The intersection of companion animals with human society is his playground. Since childhood, Dennis has been working with families - guiding and supporting choices that are good for the welfare of people and their pets.

It began with community dog training at clients' homes and grew to encompass working with nonprofit animal welfare organizations, such as the ASPCA and Animal Medical Center in New York City. The animal sheltering world provided Dennis with a rich and varied education in municipal animal control and responsibility for staff development, behavioral evaluations and shelter operations within the very high volume, Animal Care and Control of New York City.
