Shortly after falling into Recruiting, I also fell in love with a Bulldog puppy named Wally. I have grown my career from being a clueless newbie into a well-networked vet (only in Recruiting is 4 years considered being an old-timer). I have also expanded my penchant for wrinkly, stubborn companions to a philanthropic level rescuing and fostering in-need English Bulldogs with a 501c3 non-profit org. I approach both factions of my life’s work with the same altruistic guidelines: Treat others as you would want to be treated; Listen more than you speak; And give 100% of yourself 100% of the time. At the end of the day, whether I am helping a professional find a new opportunity within the Creative and Marketing industry, or helping put a Bulldog on a path towards their forever home, I find joy in the journey. I truly like being part of another person’s next step in their lives, and I love to help. The most fulfilling thing is seeing a professional flourishing in their new career, and a Bulldog seamlessly becoming part of a family. Being a successful Recruiter and a successful Rescuer is one and the same – when you’ve done your job well, the one that you have helped has forgotten they ever needed you.
