Rajendra Bhayani

I’m Dr. Rajendra Bhayani, a New York-based ENT and facial plastic surgeon, healthcare leader, philanthropist, and community advocate. Medicine has been at the center of my professional life, but I have always believed that the responsibility of a physician can extend beyond the hospital and the patients we treat each day.

Throughout my career, I have combined clinical practice and medical research with physician advocacy, professional leadership, mentorship, and community service. My involvement with the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (AAPI) has given me opportunities to work alongside physicians and leaders committed to strengthening our profession and creating meaningful connections between the United States and India.

Giving back is an important part of who I am. I have supported initiatives involving healthcare, education, humanitarian relief, and community development in both countries. I am particularly interested in bringing people and organizations together around problems that are difficult to solve alone.

I’m passionate about healthcare innovation, mentoring the next generation of physicians, strengthening communities, and finding practical ways to turn professional experience and relationships into positive impact.

Above all, I believe success becomes more meaningful when we use what we have learned to create opportunities for others and contribute to the communities around us.
