Prof. Dr. Amjad Ali ARAIN

Hi, I’m Prof. Dr. Amjad Ali ARAIN. I’m an Educationist, serving the Government College University (GCU) Hyderabad, Pakistan at the post of Chairman Department of Education. I love teaching, research, innovation and Youtubing. I earned doctoral degree from the Institute of Research in the Sociology and Economics of Education (IREDU), Burgundy University France. I did M.S. (Education) and M.S. (Economics) from the same university. I have also rendered my services as tutor in the University of Burgundy France. I had participated in a programme for Quantitative Analysis in Education at Geneva University, Switzerland in 2009. I further gained international experience through serving UNESCO Bangkok, Thailand office as internee in 2010. My areas of research are: educational psychology, teacher education, quality and quality assurance, assessment and evaluation, higher education, economics of education, and peace education. I have authored many research papers and has presented the research work in various countries. I had been nominated for International WISE Awards-2009 by Qatar Foundation for my outstanding practices in the field of education.

I have served both national and international institutions; Burgundy University France, UNESCO, International Islamic University Islamabad, Shaheed Benazir University Nawabshah, Sindh Madressa tul Islam University Karachi and University of Sindh. I had worked as managing editor of Sindh University Journal of Education (SUJE), the oldest journal of education in Pakistan. I got it recognized from the HEC in Y category. I am also CEO of Innovation, Research and Development Organization (IRADA). This NGO is working on the skills development of academia, administration and researchers in the field of education. I have built the capacity of more than one thousand teachers and professional at schools, colleges and universities levels.
