Dr. Avi Malkis

A graduate of the New York University College of Dentistry (NYUCD), Dr. Avi Malkis has served as an associate dentist with Shel Dental in Norwalk, Connecticut, since 2012. In this position he restores teeth with crowns and bridges, performs endodontic treatments, and places and restores implants. Dr. Avi Malkis is experienced in various implant systems such as Nobel Biocare, Zimmer, and Bicon, and is also a certified Invisalign provider.
In addition to his work with Shel Dental, Dr. Malkis provides dental services at Oakwood Dental Arts in Staten Island, New York, and at Yankee Family Dental in West Haven, Connecticut. Previously, he was an associate dentist with Mayfair Dental Center in Philadelphia. Dr. Malkis attended the College of Staten Island and Brooklyn College, where he was on the national deans list. While at NYUCD he was a member of the Student Health Advisory Board and the Public Affairs Committee, he is fluent in both English and Russian. When he is not working, Dr. Malkis enjoys spending time with his wife and two young children.
