Dr.B. Gonen

Author, Writer, and Physician in Pennsylvania

Venturing out at the idea that there are some things we never learn in college, or we are often taught only one side of many issues, Dr. B. Gonen has written this provocative work on the assumption that liberty requires thought and knowledge, if we want to keep it. Using examples from his love of world literature and scenes at the public sphere, he provides a welcome arena for debate. Presenting77 topical short essays on life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, he delves into his experience as a physician, entrepreneur, author of fiction books, and lover of the arts, to create an engaging discourse on life's peculiarities. At times his opinions are so strong they risk offending some, but in every case they are fact based, and his love of the world and our country invites others to agree or debate.

Join him in this jolting journey of his independent personal opinions grounded in solid facts, on topics that might scare off today's mainstream pundits. This book will make you smile, scream but most of all, think with a wider scope. He encourages readers to respond to his thoughts, preferably agreement, high praise and support, but unlike many overly PC writers today, welcomes meritorious, mild and friendly criticism.
