Dr. Bedri Yusuf

I am a board-certified internal medicine physician and physician executive with more than 25 years of experience in healthcare. I was born and raised in Ethiopia and earned my medical degree from Addis Ababa University in 1988. I completed residency training in dermatology in Germany and internal medicine in the United States. I have practiced medicine in Africa, Europe, and the U.S. My career has included clinical care, academic teaching, and senior leadership roles in large healthcare systems. I served as Chief Physician Executive for Northeast Georgia Physicians Group and previously held leadership roles at Gwinnett Health System. My work has focused on patient flow, transitions of care, physician engagement, and operational improvement. I continue to practice internal medicine and write about healthcare leadership and system performance.
