Dr. Bikash Chowdhury is a family physician and a family man, currently working in a medical center in Ontario, Canada as well as Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital near London, Ontario, Canada. With hard work and devotion, he graduated from Chittagong Medical College in Bangladesh and moved to Canada in 2002 with his family. After completing his two-year Residency at the University of Western Ontario, he became licensed to practice family medicine in Canada.

Dr. Chowdhury is most passionate about healing people from illness and improving their overall health and wellbeing. He is always focused on helping others, whether it’s his patients, colleagues, or community. Dr. Bikash Chowdhury is involved in volunteer work in the village in Bangladesh

where he grew up, an is selflessly working to establish a Bengali school in London, Ontario to help his community next generation not forget their roots.

He also offers support to Bangladesh physicians wishing to move to Canada and continue their medical profession. When he is not working, Dr. Bikash Chowdhury spends quality time with his wife and two children as an outdoors enthusiast who loves fishing, camping and cottage life and being involved in sports with his children, or socializing with friends. He has an enormous interest in World travel. He always finds time in his busy schedule to attend social and family occasions.

Dr. Bikash Chowdhury took the initiative to establish the Mcmaster module Practice Based Small Group (PBSG) Learning Program in Tillsonburg and worked relentlessly as the facilitator of the group.

He is a passionate Bengali Literary critic as well as an avid reader of Bengali literature and literary works of Noble Prize Laureate Rabindranath Tagore.
