Dr. Calvin Hirsch is a well-known member of the University of California, Davis community.

Dr. Calvin Hirsch has committed his career to supporting medical residents in caring for difficult patients on the inpatient medical unit, as well as supervising residents in the outpatient General Medicine and Internal Medicine Geriatrics clinics, which he supervised for 30 years.

Dr. Calvin Hirsch has educated generations of medical students both in the hospital setting and via lectures. Dr. Hirsch's trainees have progressed to prestigious academic geriatrics careers.
