Charlie Fox
Charles R. Fox, O.D., Ph.D. is a professor and former dean at Point Park University’s School of Arts and Sciences. Dr. Fox received the Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology from Brandeis University. He is a graduate of the Harvard University Management Development Program and the Wichita State University Mini-MBA program.
Dr. Fox is a national consultant to higher education and health care institutions on project management, program development and assessment, faculty/staff development, research, academic administration, and ethics. He has provided consulting services to Touro University, Wichita State University (where he was associate dean), and the National Association of Chronic Disease Directors among others.
His work has been recognized through various awards including the J. Warren Perry Distinguished Author Award (2008, Journal of Allied Health), the Kansas Health Ethics Organizational Award of Honor (2007), Medical Book Publishers Association Honorable Mention for Best New Book (1993), and the VAMC Outstanding Merit Citation (1992), among others.
