Dr Doug McDermid

Graduated from the University Of Manitoba Faculty Of Dentistry, Dr. Doug McDermid had a vision to build a dental practice that contributed to the total health of his patients. He has made that vision a reality at Lakewood Dental Centre, which he founded with his life partner Cheri in 1977, shortly after he was awarded his degree.
Dr. Doug has taken special training in implants at McGill University, esthetics at New York Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, occlusion and temporomandibular dysfunction with Clinical Research Associates, and periodontal therapy. He has also studied with the International Association for Orthodontics.

Dr. Doug is also a proud and active member of the Manitoba Dental Association, the Canadian Dental Association, the International Association for Orthodontics, and the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain.
