Dr. Emil Kohan

I am Dr. Emil Kohan, a board-certified plastic surgeon based in Beverly Hills, California. My career has been built on the belief that great plastic surgery requires both science and artistry. I specialize in body contouring, mommy makeover procedures, breast surgery, liposuction, Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) procedures, and complex revision cases, with a focus on creating natural-looking results that help patients feel confident while maintaining their individuality.

I was raised in Los Angeles and developed an early appreciation for art, design, and entrepreneurship, alongside a strong interest in science and medicine. I graduated summa cum laude from UCLA with dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Neuroscience and Psychobiology before earning my medical degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, where I was honored to receive a four-year Dean's Scholarship. I completed my Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery residency at the University of California, Irvine.

Beyond patient care, I am passionate about education, research, and innovation in aesthetic medicine. I have authored peer-reviewed publications, contributed to textbook chapters, and presented on advanced surgical techniques at professional meetings. My goal is to continually improve my craft, advance the field, and help patients achieve balanced, natural results through thoughtful, individualized care.
