Dr. Ermias Semaie, DDS

Dr. Ermias Semaie, DDS, is a general dentist who provides dental services, such as fillings, crowns, root canals, dentures, implants, braces to children and adults in Maryland.

Dr. Semaie received his Bachelor’s of Science from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. He furthered his education and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from West Virginia University. Dr. Semaie is a member of the American Dental Association, the Maryland State Dental Association, the Southern Maryland Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Semaie is dedicated to educating patients about their oral health as it is very important and connected to the overall health. Research have shown a link between poor oral health and systemic disease, such as stroke, heart disease, diabetes, dementia, rheumatoid arthritis, and preterm labor. Dr. Semaie's goal is to bring awareness and help patients maintain healthy teeth and gums for life.

Dr. Semaie always looks to broaden his knowledge and dental skills by taking continuing education courses on advanced dental topics and procedures.
Besides working as a dentist, Dr. Semaie enjoys spending quality time with his wife, two children, parents, siblings, and friends. He likes attending church on Sundays. He also enjoys many hobbies, such as soccer, basketball, and tennis, in his spare time.
