Dr. Huang Wu is a full-time orthopedic surgeon, field nurse, and medical assistant chief surgeon with MSF medical support teams, with over 18 years of experience in the medical field. To become an orthopedic surgeon after his initial medical training, he also completed a field nurse training course, which he maintains to this day. His dual role as a field nurse and medical surgeon has provided him with extensive experience traveling, practicing in the field, and providing medical aid globally. He also has unrelated experience in business marketing, despite never having worked in a business organization.

Dr. Huang Wu completed his university education early and subsequently enrolled in a medical program at his school. This program, which offered free participation and potential scholarships for medical training, attracted students interested in the medical field. Heavily funded, it also trained medical field nurses for the United Nations and other programs. Dr. Wu's involvement in this program led to his first degree in medical field nursing, followed by his medical degree. He then received an offer to work at a major medical organization in the United States. Since then, he has worked in various medical training programs such as the American Red Cross, Oxfam, and currently MSF. More recently, he accepted a one-year contract with the US Army to serve as a chief surgeon in Jordan.
