Dr. Jon-Patric Nelson

Dr. Nelson is a physical therapist at the Brandon Regency office located in Brandon, FL.

Nelson graduated in 2015 with a bachelor degree in Health Sciences from the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL. Subsequently, Nelson graduated in 2019 with a doctorate in physical therapy from the University of St. Augustine in St. Augustine, FL.

Nelson has experience in treating individuals with musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiovascular and respiratory dysfunctions. This includes but are not limited to spinal cord injury, stroke, COPD, gait dysfunction, abnormal foot alignment, paralysis (muscle weakness), muscle strain, muscle trigger points, ligament strain, poor balance, headaches, post surgical treatment, athletic reconditioning and etc. Nelson is also certified in Recovery and Reconditioning, a program implemented by Select Physical Therapy in order to address and treat patients that present with cardio-respiratory deficiency, general de-conditioning, and other dysfunctions and impairments associated to recovering from COVID-19.

Nelson has a passion for serving humanity, being a lifelong student and uplifting others.My interests range from photography to writing. I am also interested in fitness, outdoors, and reading.
