Dr. Green, a national and international spokesperson on financial independence for victims of violence and their children, is the President and Founder of Second Chance Employment Services (SCES), a not-for-profit organization which provides meaningful employment for domestic violence and human trafficking victims. She draws on her 20 years experience in the human resources field to find employment for the clients.

Dr. Green served under the State Department as Cultural Ambassador of the United States in Human Trafficking since 2009 and served as U.S Delegate to Jordan and Syria. She fluently speaks French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and German. Dr. Green served as a US Delegate to Morocco in 2012, Turkey 2011, Chile in 2009, and as U.S. delegate to the 2008 Global Summit of Women in Vietnam. An advocate for women and children for over 20 years. In 2006 she was appointed by the U.S. Attorney General to be on the Advisory Council of Domestic Violence Against Women. Also served under the Committee on Teen Dating and Violence under Department of Justice. She was elected as the Vice-Chairwoman of the Board of Trustees for the Family and Children's Trust Fund of Virginia.. Dr. Green also was elected to serve on the Commission of the Status of Women in Virginia, and the Economic Development Commission in the District of Columbia.

Green is the recipient of many prestigious awards including Nominee to the 2010 United Nations Business Leader's Award Fight Human Trafficking in Luxor, Egypt, the 2010 Women Who Mean Business Award by the Washington Business Journal, 2009 Brava Award, 2008 Woman of Vision Award; 2008 Washingtonian of the Year; 2007 Professional Innovation in Victims Service by the US Attorney General; 2006 "Volvo for Life Award"; the 2005 Human Resource Association of the National Capital Area "HR Leader Award for Excellence in Community Service"; the 2005 Toyota and ABC Channel 7 "Tribute to Working Women Award"; and the Laura Bradfield Foundation, Inc. 2005 Grant. She is a graduate of the Class 2003 Leadership Washington Program and Finance for Senior Executives, Harvard University 2010. She is currently a contributor to the Huffington Post. She is also a member of the International Women Forum ("IWF")
