Graduated in Physical Education, 1998, he is currently Associate Professor in the Department of Physiology - DEFIS, Institute of Biomedical Sciences (ICBIM), Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU). Master's degree (2001) and phD (2006) in Cardiovascular and Respiratory Physiology, Department of Physiology, Federal University of São Paulo - UNIFESP. Professor in the Graduate Program in Health Science - UFU (Academic) and Coordinator of the Laboratory of Electrophysiology and Experimental Cardiovascular Physiology where he develops research on cardiovascular regulation. He has experience in the area of Physiology, with an emphasis on Physiology of Organs and Systems, acting mainly on cardiovascular adjustments produced by the activation of alert and defense in non-anesthetized rats and in the genesis of sympathetic activity.
