Dr Melissa Bordogna is an internationally known speaker, educator, consultant and award-winning instructional designer. Over the last 20 years, Melissa has worked with Fortune 500 companies, government agencies, universities, not-for-profit institutions as well as numerous small to medium-sized enterprises producing measurable results through strategic learning and development projects.

Melissa is the Managing Director of Global Educational Network Technologies Pty Ltd (GEdNeT) which provides educational consulting, instructional design, eLearning development and training services. She is also the founder of both The Savvy Academic and KatalyisX. The Savvy Academic offers professional development, training and coaching services to learning professionals regarding 21 century teaching and learning approaches; KatalysisX focuses on the issues surrounding and capabilities needed for the Future of Work and the anticipated far-reaching impact on the workplace of exponential technologies such as AI, IoT and automation to name a few.

With a MA & PhD from the University of Denver in Human Communication Studies and a corporate background in marcoms, Melissa has taught for institutions such as the University of Notre Dame, Australian Institute of Higher Education, the University of Denver as well as CQU and Curtain, Sydney Campuses to name a few.
