Dr. Mark Stevens

Mark Stevens is a Staff Chaplain at Ancora Psychiatric Hospital and an On-Call Chaplain at Cooper Trauma Center. Mark Stevens graduated from the Institute of Jewish Studies, a school of the Philadelphia Bible University. He is an ETA (Evangelical Training Association) certified Bible Teacher. He holds a BA in Theology , MA in Ministry, and a Doctorate in Theology from Freedom Bible College and Seminary, He has completed four units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) at Cooper Trauma Center. He completed Psych Rehab Certification Training at UMDNJ. He is also Certified in CISM and is a member of the Cooper CIRT (Crisis Intervention Response Team).

Mark Stevens is a highly decorated retired MSgt in the USAF. He has served in Combat Operations in Somalia, Jordan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Honduras, Turkey, Korea, and Morocco. . Prior to accepting the call to ministry Elder Stevens was a Martial Arts (Tang Soo Do) instructor. He is presently establishing a Bible Institute named NJITS (NJ Institute of Theological Studies) He is also a pastor in the city of Camden, NJ. Mt Calvary COGIC.
