Worked as consultant in Neurosurgery in the Army medical Corps,from 1985 to 2006. Also held the chair of assistant professor, associate professor and the the professor of Neurosurgery at Army Medical College, Rawalpindi. Introduced various Microsurgical operative techniques at CMH Rwp,like transsphenoidal surgery,micro vascular surgery,posterior fossa tumor surgery & neurovascular decompression procedures. Introduced MIS for disc prolapse,cervical degenerative disorders,OPLL. Also performed supra orbital minicraniotomy in CSF leaks,sellar Meningiomas.
