Dr Negin Afshar

I am a UK trained Family Medicine Specialist and have over 11 years experience as doctor in a variety of hospitals and practices in UK as well as in Dubai, acquiring an exceptional range of experience, knowledge and skills. I am now seeing patients at Wellbeing Medical Centre in Dubai.

I graduated from Southampton University, England, in 2002 as an MD, obtained my Family Medicine Specialist licenses from UK, Dubai Health Care City (DHCC) and Dubai Health Authority (DHA).
I am a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP); she is also a member of Emirates Family Medicine Society under Emirates Medical Association (EMA).

I have a broad interest in all aspects of family medicine, adopting a holistic and patient centered approach, practicing evidence based medicine.

The cornerstone of good family medicine is a trustworthy doctor-patient relationship. My main role is restoring the patients' confidence in physicians, treating them with patience and of course with quality medicine, encouraging them to become more intentional about choosing healthy lifestyle choices.
