Dr. Douglas also operates an additional practice in Shanghai, China, where he has perfected techniques to correct the effects of double eyelids.

Education and work career

Dr. Douglas graduated with academic distinction from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he completed his medical training and his doctorate in immunology and autoimmune inflammatory disorders. He then finished an orbital facial plastic and reconstructive surgery fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Stein Eye Institute in Los Angeles, California.

Dr. Douglas has since held prestigious positions at the UCLA School of Medicine, Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, and Greater Los Angeles Veterans Hospital, as well as at the Veterans Administration Ann Arbor Healthcare System and the University of Michigan Kellogg Eye Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan .
