A Neurosurgeon with about 23 years of medical experience DR RUSSELL SCHMIDT currently at work in Syria with the UN and US military troops as a military doctor on a contract. He is the Chief Medical Director in charge of free medicine department and also the consultant of the neuroscience and Team leader of special department Code99. Before his current service, he worked at Sea spine orthopedic institute in plantation Florida. He also served as a chief neurosurgeon with Washington Neuroscience clinic and for more than 15 years affiliated with Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital where for 2 years he served as a chairman of its department. Dr Russell Schmidt takes a particular interest in cerebral vascular system I'm in the surgical treatment of brain tumors.

Dr Russell Schmidt worked as a surgical scrub technician at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital during the summers between his undergraduate years at Williams Jewell college Missouri before his studies took him to further and further to Medical University of Manchester where he got his doctorate degree. He also went to Army war college west point where he got his degree in General surgery and Cardio thoracic surgery in 1988.

Outside of work, Dr Russell Schmidt enjoys outdoor hobbies such as Swimming, camping, gardening and lots more. Dr Russell has been a wonderful husband and a father who lost his beautiful wife early 2017. He's currently on his third contract with the UN and also due for retirement.
