Dr. Ryan Luna, MD

Dr. Ryan Luna is a Family Medicine Physician and Chief Resident at Nassau University Medical Center on Long Island. His clinical interests include preventive care, chronic disease management, obesity and weight management, dermatologic conditions, and patient education.
Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, Dr. Luna completed a seven-year BS/MD program through University of Texas at San Antonio and UT Health San Antonio.
Dr. Luna focuses on providing high-quality, patient-centered care and helping patients understand their health through clear communication and evidence-based medicine. He is particularly interested in innovative approaches to care delivery, including the role of technology and digital health tools in improving patient outcomes.
Dr. Luna will complete his residency training in family medicine in 2026 and is based on the Upper East Side in New York City.
