Dr Hassan completed his Gynaecology training at Lady Willingdon Hospital/King Edward Medical University and passed his Membership (MCPS) and Fellowship (FCPS) exams in first attempt. He was selected for Fellowship under Royal College (RCOG) sponsorship and worked at St Richard’s Hospital Chichester England for 2 years and passed his MRCOG exam at the end of his higher training.
He came back to Pakistan and worked at Nishtar Hospital Multan for a brief period and while working as Assistant Professor, he decided to move to Saudi Arabia where he joined the prestigious National Guards King Abdul Aziz Medical City Jeddah as Assistant Consultant. Here he developed his interest in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility and worked closely with the Fertility team. He wanted to get proper training in this subspecialty from some recognised institution.
Therefore he came back to the UK and started Masters in Reproduction and Development from the University of Bristol. While completing his MSc, he got selected at the Reproductive Medicine unit of St. Mary’s university Hospital Manchester.
He has been trained here in all aspects of infertility management and assisted reproductive treatment / IVF / ICSI from scratch. He is still working there as a Senior Fellow and has completed his MSc in 2019. He has special interest in male fertility/ Andrology and Fertility preservation.
