Dr. Sven David

Management Consultant & Interim Manager in Berlin, Deutschland

My name is Sven David, and I live in Berlin, the capital of Germany.

In my professional life I act as a Management Consultant and Interim Manager with a focus on corporate restructuring, turnaround management, strategic alignment, and corporate controlling systems. In these fields I look back on a successful career of more than 20 years meanwhile, having worked with various renowned companies, e.g. KPMG, Roland Berger, OTTO, Siemens, BMW, FraPort, SPAR, Daewoo, Rover, Ruhrkohle Handel, VEBA OEL/ British Petroleum and others as well as with numerous SME's - mostly as a consultant or in a top executive role.

Being a formally educated banker, I graduated from Kiel University in Business Administration with the German equivalent to an MBA and was conferred a doctoral degree in Social Sciences and Business Administration by the Vienna University of Economics and Business. In this context I wrote a quite heavy book on "External crisis management from a bank's perspective" which is worth reading, of course, but you may also use it as a fly killer or a body fitness instrument. I also had the privilege to contribute largely to establishing a private University of Applied Sciences, so possibly - if I decided to - a "Prof." may mark my tombstone some day.

I am a blessed and happy father of two children and the partner of a bright, warm-hearted, open-minded and dynamic lady.

In my spare-time I love jogging, reading (e.g. politics, economy and business, history) and meeting friends.
