Dr. Theo Gerstle

I am Dr. Theodore “Theo” Gerstle, a plastic surgeon based in Lexington, Kentucky, and I have dedicated my career to helping patients feel confident through personalized and compassionate care. I grew up in Westchester, New York, where I learned the importance of discipline, leadership, and service at an early age. I attended Iona Prep High School, became an Eagle Scout, and later graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point with a degree in Engineering Management.

After completing my military commitment, I pursued medicine at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. During medical school, I served as class president and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. I then completed my plastic surgery residency through the Harvard Combined Plastic Surgery Residency Program in Boston.

Since joining Lexington Plastic Surgery in 2014, I have focused on facial rejuvenation, breast surgery, body contouring, reconstructive surgery, and migraine treatment. My goal has always been to provide natural-looking results while building trust through honest communication and individualized care. Outside of medicine, I enjoy woodworking and spending time with my three children.
