Dr. Yvonne Henderson

Hello I am Dr. Yvonne an up and coming designer, from Aurora, Colorado. I recently relocated to the Missouri City, TX area. I have been sewing for over ten years. I started out sewing for my mime group because we wanted robes and could not afford them. I continued to sew for myself when I moved and went solo. After six years God told me to start marketing my robes for others, then he told me to launch a clothing line inspired by my dance garments. Now he has me just straight out making custom clothes for men, women and children.

D.I.V.A. Designs, LLC first hit the runway for Black Pearl Entertainment in August of 2018. I went on to co-host my own fashion show sponsored by my non-profit organization, D.I.V.A. Mime Ministry and Black Pearl Entertainment. From there I was selected for my first designer competition hosted by Angel Wings Entertainment and then I was a part of Curvy Gurl Collections Runway show in New Orleans during Essence Week followed up by a show in Chicago with Fashion World, LLC for Chicago Summer Fest 2019 in July. I have also been afforded the opportunity to walk in Denver's Unique Week of Fashion

I also have the awesome pleasure of teaming up with the wonder Tiffany A. Green to be a part of the Real Diva's Win Movement, by becoming a Co-author in the 2nd Edition of Real Diva's Win Anthology, this was my first joint publication and the book signing was September 28, 2019 (my birthday) I have finished my Interactive Devotional " Love Lifted Me" with my pull to also share at the book signing.
