She then found her calling in social work, and achieved a Master of Social Work degree from Indiana University Northwest. Three years later, Draga received her license as a social worker and joined the National Association of Social workers.
Wanting to achieve more, Draga went on to earn a Ph.D. in Clinical Social Work from the Chicago-based Institute for clinical Social Work. There, Draga received extensive training in psychodynamic psychotherapy.
Dr. Draga Ilievski began her medical career as a student intern at a nearby hospital. She gained clinical experience by assisting with admission assessments and discharge planning.
Draga’s career has developed over the years, and her current focus remains in working with various aspects of women’s healthcare. She is a Certified Daring Way Facilitator-Clinician, Certified in perinatal mental health and remains working with psychosocial Oncology.
Draga also is trained in Radically Open Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, based on the research of Dr. Thomas Lynch.
