“DRAGON EYEZ: A Digital Graphic Novel” is a story from the creative mind of DeArdis Hurts. Here are original concept design sketches as they begin in his sketchbook..

The story begins with Nylah, a half –dragon / half -human woman that was born with supernatural physical and mental abilities. At the age of 4, Nylah was adopted by a Dragon and taught to use her abilities to fight and slay dragons.

Once her training is complete, her first task is to seek out and unite the other members of her family. They must band together to put to rest an ancient blood feud between multiple dragon clans ...and end a war that could destroy the world.

The characters in DRAGON EYEZ are inspired by the creator’s (DeArdis Hurts), real life family. The main characters are named after his nieces and nephews who all happened to be born the same year. Using this has inspired a story that centers on family, world conflict, and personal morality.

DRAGON EYEZ offers fantasy fans the opportunity to be apart of something unique. This is not a re-make or re-boot of classic fantasy stories. This is a new breed of fantasy stories set in the modern times, with a diverse group of characters that people can connect with.
