I am currently a student at the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst. I am an accounting major working on my bachelor’s degree. After I graduate I will pursue a masters and become a CPA to work in public accounting.

At UMass Amherst I am a part of Beta Alpha Psi, an accounting fraternity where I attend networking events and perform community service. Some of these events include an Easter egg hunt and ice skating event with Big Brother Big Sister.

A passion of mine is running and staying active. I go on 3-5 mile runs a few times a week. Running is not just a good way to stay fit, but is a good stress reliever too. Running around the UMass campus or on trails when I’m back at home is relaxing and a fun activity to enjoy outdoors. Over the past few years I’ve enjoyed hiking Mt. Monadnock, running in a Color Me Rad 5k, rowing in the Ernestine Bayer Race on The Charles River, and hiking up mountains in the El Yunque Rain Forest in Puerto Rico.

Another passion of mine is using cooking to get together with friends and family. I think the best way to bring people together to socialize is around a meal. I love opportunities to cook for others and being able to cook with the help of friends and family. I don’t get to see my extended family too often, so when we all get together it is a special moment that usually revolves around food. Talking with everyone over a meal that we all helped to make is a great way to bring people closer together.
