Abbey Drake

I'm a 32 year old traveler. When I get the chance. I love the mountains, hoppy beers, and feeling a little out of my skin. I've also love the smell of used book stores.

I started traveling later in life, with my first trip to South Africa during graduate school. Since then I've had the pleasure of a year and half journey through Central and South America, two South African revisits, a three month stint through South East Asia, and a tour through India!

I was born in northern Vermont, where my parents and two misplaced cats, Sebastian and Peter, still live. A Physician Assistant, I currently work at Johnson and Wales University in Denver, Colorado and part-time at an Urgent Care. While I enjoy this great profession, I work to live and not vice versa.

Although I don't travel as often as I'd like, I'm slowly working on my bucket list and exploring America's natural beauties and great cities. I have a beautiful mother and father, a feisty four year old nephew, Parker, and wonderful sister, Amanda, who keep me afloat and have been my life-long supporters. And my teeny tiny neice, Ella, just entered the mix in March!

The Camino de Santiago is next up for this summer 2014, a 490 mile pilgrimmage across northern Spain. Follow along!
