Allow me to introduce myself? Hey, Im Nicky. Its nice to meet you. I have had a camera in my hands since I was about 14. Taking pictures of everything moving and things that didn't. Pictures of people, hairstyles, buildings. Some were in focus and others wildly blurred at that time. I took classes in for photography in high school, and did video blogs while at a university. Which is crazy Because I was in school for almost three years to become a nurse. Crazy right?! I applied to Nursing school and Occupational therapy school and my grades qualified me for entry. After interviewing for acceptance I asked myself "Is this REALLY what makes you happy?" "Could you do this everyday Nicole?"

And as you can imagine, the answer was no. I couldnt. Not happily. So I dropped out of college as a junior, Had a 5 month summer of working, roadtrips and picture taking; and realized my future was in my hands. My camera! The one thing I loved to do, didnt get tired of, and made me happy. So immediately I looked into schools, signed up and pursued my Commercial Photography Degree.

Since then I have done events all around Nashville, Such as Capturing our Vanderbilt World Champions coming home front and center in the craziness and rain. I have been featured in Nashville Lifestyles magazine, and even The Tennessean. I volunteer and photograph the events of The Root 53 Foundation that was founded by Tennessee Titan Linebacker Moise Fokou. Also one of my favorite things to shoot are concerts! Not only do I capture Bands and artists like Spanish Gold and City and Colour; I do portraits and weddings as well.
