Dr. Alex Lechin

An experienced medical professional, Dr. Alex Lechin serves as a clinical assistant professor at the Baylor College of Medicine, where he teaches both medical students and residents. Alongside this, Dr. Alex Lechin serves as a physician director of the Texas Institute of Chest and Sleep Disorders, a position he started in 1995.
He oversees the evaluation and treatment of patients with pulmonary and sleep disorders, among others. Throughout his career, Dr. Lechin has earned numerous awards, including the Patient’s Choice Award, which he received on five occasions. He is also a nine-time nominee of the Houston’s Best Pulmonologists award, as chosen by H Texas Magazine.
Over the past 25 years, Dr. Alex Lechin has also been on the advisory board of multiple organizations, such as Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, which was focusing on Spiriva. He returned to advise the organization several years later when it was working on Mirapex.
Dr. Lechin has worked in similar capacities with Glaxo/Smith/Kline and Pfizer.
