Our Mission

To ignite a renaissance in artistic expression by reimagining African and indigenous history through fine and liberal arts, making knowledge accessible across diverse communities.

Our Vision

We aim to become the leading curators of African history through the arts, functioning as the dramatized database of historical narratives. Our vision includes forging partnerships that preserve the cultural heritage of African history, making knowledge accessible to people in both urban and rural areas.

Our Goals

✔ Preserve the indigenous history and heritage of marginalized African tribes.
✔ Illuminate African resilience through compelling storytelling.
✔ Address the Mandela Effect and the dangers of collective false memory by conducting intensive research to ensure historical accuracy.
✔ Inspire students and youth to take pride in their heritage, explore their own cultural narratives, and articulate them through diverse creative styles.
✔ Educate and engage global audiences with Africa’s rich and diverse legacy.

About Us

Founded by Boikhutso Phenyo Molefhi, Dramatic Scholars is dedicated to preserving indigenous history through storytelling and performance. Inspired by the Griots—guardians of oral traditions—our work brings historical narratives to life on international festival stages. With a focus on entertainment but a foundation in education, we use artistic expression to safeguard indigenous knowledge, indigenous language, and indigenous education, ensuring African heritage remains vibrant for future generations.

At Dramatic Scholars, we believe history must be actively remembered. Through in-depth research and immersive storytelling, we combat misinformation and empower young minds to become the next generation of cultural storytellers—preserving Africa’s past while shaping its future. The company seeks to create a space for artistic expression of history, culture, and heritage.
