Heather Sell

Filmmaker, Student, Writer, Student, and Writer in Washington, DC

Aspiring documentary and feature filmmaker, novelist, activist, leader, and entrepreneur. I started a blog where I interview teachers to raise awareness about education and the education system in the U.S and abroad. If you're a teacher, educator, or concerned parent please email me for an interview. Revamping a blog about congress, and occasionally blog about theatre.

I lived in NYC for almost two years attempting to find work in theatre (as well as a survival job). Unfortunately, that plan did not work out and I had to move back home. Therefore, I am currently looking for administrative, editorial, freelance blogging or article writing, or social media jobs so that I can save money to go back to school and become a filmmaker. I am also looking to get some of my work published in literary magazines and online publications. I want to continue to write, blog, and advocate for good causes once I go back to school, since I will always be passionate about human rights, education, climate change, and working to eliminate poverty in the United States and abroad.

If anyone in the Washington, D.C, Maryland, Virginia area is hiring please let me know if job opportunities are available and I would be happy to be of assistance. I am currently freelancing for the Severna Park, Pasadena, and Arundel Voice. I'm also writing on Medium.

If you are a fellow entrepreneur, company owner or CEO, please take a look at my backstory or contact me directly so that we can connect and see if I am a good fit for your company.

I am also available for freelance writing and filmmaking gigs. Check out the links in my backstory, and my blogs, to see if I am a good fit for your project.
