Dr. Arun Prasad is a graduate form Armed force Medical College, Poona. He did his post graduation from Maulana Azad Medical College. Subsequently, he was in the UK for his FRCS and higher surgical training. He has had extensive experience in General and Gastrointestinal surgery including GI cancers like esophagus, stomach and colorectal. He is a leading bariatric surgeon in New Delhi and is President of the Obesity Surgery Society of India(OSSI).

He is the pioneer in laparoscopic surgery globally and has one of the highest numbers of robotic surgery in India (Thymectomy, Bariatrics, and GI).
