'drasil' is the name I've used to represent myself online for nearly two decades, or the majority of my life. it was abbreviated from my original nick 'yggdrasil' by the guys in #gayteen on EFnet IRC, and it's stuck with me ever since. I even answer to it in person.
there are other drasils out there. if someone else is using my name on a service, alternate options I've taken include 'easterntrees,' 'drawing hexagons,' and 'the color inside.'
