Ayman Murad

Ayman Mansour Murad was born in Jordan in 1969. He earned a PhD degree in Computer Information Systems in addition to mixed collection of professional and industry standard certificates like; Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Training Professional (CTP), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Academic Instructor (CCAI) and ICDL Expert among others. This gave him a strong academic, professional and working experience in Education, Training, Certification, Information and Communication Technology and Project Management. Ayman has more than 20 years of experience in private sector and United Nations. During his 19 years with UN he managed to work on different positions with increasing responsibility. He is currently working for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) as Head, Partnerships, Communication and ICT Unit (www.un.org/unrwa ). During Ayman's experience with UNRWA he has overseen the introduction of major ICT educational projects which included curriculum upgrades and capacity building for UNRWA's Education Information System, particularly TVET. Ayman was a key player in introducing third party training and certifications programs into UNRWA's system like the Cisco Networking Academy program, Taalam TV and ICDL program among others. He managed to coordinate strategic partnerships with Cisco Systems, UNWOMEN, UNESCO Cairo Office, OLPC, Taalam TV and the NGO community. In addition he served as the lead coordinator of a number of inter-Agency initiatives. Ayman also worked for United Nations Development Programme as a Project Manager for the Higher Education and Labor Market Project. www.undp-jordan.org On part-time basis, he teaches advanced project management subject for the master degree and provides training and consultations in the fields of Project Management, Training and ICT. Since 2008, Ayman has been serving the Project management Institute – Jordan Chapter as Vice President for Education and he is a member in PMI since 2005.
