Dr. Beers Mountain View
Dr. Daniel Beers operates out of Mountain View, California. Currently, Dr. Beers serves as an ophthalmologic surgeon with the Peninsula Laser Eye Medical Group. A state-of-the-art facility, the Peninsula Laser Eye Medical Group utilizes advanced Lasik technology for corrective cataract and refractive eye procedures. Concurrently, he serves as the Chief of Ophthalmology for El Camino Hospital.
Dr. Beers ranks as a specialist in refractive laser eye surgeon and lens implant/cataract surgery. In addition to his ongoing work through the Peninsula Laser Eye Medical Group, he instructs student residents through Stanford University regarding the latest and most advanced eye surgical techniques. He also delivers regular lectures and presentations at both the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. Additionally, he continues to publish an array of articles, including the 2010 paper "Helping Patients Choose an Intraocular Lens," which he delivered at Alcon Presentation in San Francisco.
Dr. Beers possesses a bachelor of arts in biochemistry and philosophy from the University of California at San Diego (UCSD), from which he graduated cum laude. He subsequently transitioned to UC San Francisco, again graduating near the top of his class. Following this, he engaged advanced ophthalmology training through the Oregon Health Sciences. During his tenure at the Oregon Health Sciences, he participated in FDA studies involving excimer laser and laser vision correction procedures.
Dr. Beers prides his Bay Area operation on maintaining the highest professional standards. Listed among San Jose Magazine's The Best Surgeons in the Bay Area and ranked among one of America's Top Ophthalmologists by the Consumers' Research Council of America, he maintains recognition as a leader in his field by hundreds of Bay Area health care professionals. He continues to treat patients from the Mountain View facility.
