Dr. Cameron Sordi

Dr. Cameron Sordi is a dentist living in the southern Ontario city of Peterborough who performs general and family dental procedures, as well as extractions, root canal therapy, and cosmetic porcelain procedures.

Dr. Cameron Sordi earned his Bachelors of Science in Microbiology from the University of British Columbia in 1993. He then earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine, also from the University of British Columbia, in 1999.

Following the completion of his studies, Cameron served as a resident at the University of Toronto’s program at Sunnybrook Hospital. After successfully completing this program, Cameron began working as a dental associate in Niagara and Belleville, Ontario.

In 2004, Cameron established his own dental practice in Peterborough, where for almost a decade, he provided comprehensive dental care to families and patients in the area. At his practice, Cameron was particularly committed to creating open channels of communication between his staff, himself and his patients.

Since 2012, Cameron has practiced in association in Oshawa and Lindsay.

Continually looking for ways to grow as a dentist and maintain a knowledge of the latest advancements in the field, Cameron continues to study dentistry, including areas such as cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, oral surgery and communication and team building.

Outside of work, Cameron enjoys a number of interests and passions. He is an avid outdoorsman, which he credits to his youth and time spent at his family cottage in the B.C wilderness. Some of the activities Cameron enjoys include paddle boarding, snowboarding, hiking, water skiing and mountain biking.

Cameron also enjoys traveling and spent a year vacationing around Southeast Asia and the Philippines. While there, he spent a great deal of his time scuba-diving for unique marine life and immersed himself in the local indigenous cultures and history. One of his most memorable excursions on the 12-month long trip was his hiking expedition to visit an isolated mountain pygmy tribe.

Cameron has also visited China, where he learned about the cultural history, cuisine and architecture of the country.
